"Recently stayed here /room was extremely neat and well kept with very thorough room service . Restaurant was equally well kept with very tasty home cooking and the best rolls and local berry pie!! (limited hours of operation but host and hostess very accommodating in providing breakfast items etc). Host and hostess guided us through the area and helped Make stay very pleasant . A rare find in affordable family stays. "
"Stopped by for dinner after a big day hike in Glacier and left SO FULL AND HAPPY. As an area local, I usually pass by establishments catering to tourists during our very busy summer season, but I will for sure be back to the Highland! Here's a pro tip: when you order, ask for your huckleberry pie first for a warm, gooey, pre-appetizer appetizer. "Pie first" is how I will live my life from now on. Speaking of appetizers... do not miss the chickpea fries or spider tots. Both will blow your mind. We ordered two plates of chickpea fries because we were that obsessed. And even after stuffing our faces with all that, we devoured our pizza. I forget the pizza's exact name, but it had artichoke hearts and sun-dried tomatoes and it was YUM. (Dough is made in-house!)"
"Our favorite spot for great food after a day in the park! The chickpea fries and spider tots are our favorite. And the pie is amazing!"
"Great breakfast spot. If you used to love the West Glacier Cafe but not so much after it changed hands, head over to the Highland. Great breakfast for a reasonable price and good coffee."
"Stayed here with friends and this was the perfect home base for exploring, as it has a great location close to the south entrance to the park. It's right in between the 2 other entrances as well, which are easily reachable by car. Owners were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area and gave us some excellent trail (and distillery!) recommendations. Rooms were clean and cozy, with beautiful mountain views. One highlight was being able to see the room I was staying in from the top of a nearby mountain. Stayed for a week and still didn't have enough time to see everything, really looking forward to coming back!"
