"A great hotel right at the entrance of Glacier National Park! We stayed here for 2 nights during our vacation across Montana and Wyoming and this was probably my favorite hotel of the trip, it's very peaceful tucked into the trees and you can pull up and park right at your room doorstep which makes it super easy to transfer luggage. Being able to enter the national park within literally 1-2 minutes is super convenient. The rooms were very clean , beds were comfortable, and showers were nice. The restaurant and market onsite also made this location very easy because you could just walk from the room to get food or groceries. The staff was all very friendly including the guy that checked us in and Cheri who helped me change my reservation after I had adjusted some dates before the trip. I'm considering coming back to Glacier NP and staying here longer"

"We stayed at Glacier Highland Hotel during our 7-day visit to GNP in late June and loved it. It is the perfect homebase for any activities or day trips in and around the park. All the staff was friendly and helpful, but a special shout out goes to Lawrence, who went out of his way to make us feel at home! Our rustic room (31) was comfortable for three adults, with a hot shower, fresh towels when requested, two queen beds, and plenty of windows to open to enjoy mountain air. Ours was not in the 'main house' so no fridge or A/C, but we knew this and it was not a negative. We used a fan (provided) on one evening and it was perfect, and bought two Igloo compostable coolers to keep in the room for beverages and leftovers. Wi fi and TV are luxuries in the area and this hotel has them both. There is not a closet or chest to put clothes in, but there is a rack to hang or lay clothes on. We enjoyed sitting at tables outside in the evenings, chatting with other guests, drinking wine, loving the weather. The location of this hotel is so convenient to the west gateway to GNP - literally a 4 minute drive - and other amenities (Glacier Highland restaurant/store, gas station, Glacier Village, etc.) are all within walking distance. So glad we found Glacier Highland Hotel - we will be back"

"Great food and service, and the pie was amazing. There was a good selection of beers on tap as well."

"My family and I stay at this quaint hotel each summer when we travel to GNP. This will be trip #5 The hotel is always clean, has a great shower, quiet in the evenings. Perfect location for getting into West Glacier and GNP. The Restaurant has a wonderful staff, and unbelievable breakfasts. I highly recommend the huckleberry pancakes; they stick with you all day. The Amtrack station across hwy 2 has a very interesting gift shop. The location of the hotel makes it easy to travel West to Columbia Falls/Whitefish or East to East Glacier and St. Mary's. When you arrive you'll find a very friendly office staff with genuine hospitality. The Glacier Highland may not have all the bells and whistles of a corporate hotel, however, it is perfect for a quiet stay, a good night's rest, and exceptional food. Enjoy your stay! Enjoy Montana ! "Probably the best out of the park lodging to use as a homebase if you're staying in west glacier. Great prices, spacious, clean rooms, with easy access. NOTE: Our room did not have a fridge -- we always carry a cooler bag anyway so it was not a big deal, but it may be for some. Their restaurant has great food and a good selection of local craft beers -- we loved the several slices of different pies we had. They also have a small giftshop / convenience store that has the essentials. Parking for the restaurant isn't plentiful, luckily if you're staying in the hotel you can use the stairs and walkways to get there. There is a train station right across the street, so there is some train noise, but not enough to bother us."
